Students are encouraged to have all their funding needed before college starts. As a college we try very hard to keep the cost for both tuitition and room and board affordable. You will find all the details below.

    The current costs for a typical single student living in the dorms is shown below. For non-dorm students, the tuition rates and student fees are the same, but the on-campus housing costs vary depending on the type of housing needed. Please contact LFBC (info@lfbc.net) for the current on-campus housing rates.

  • Financial Assistance

    Student Assistance Fund

    A student assistance fund has been established by the board of LFEA. Students not having sufficient money to cover their tuition and fees may make application at the beginning of each semester. Applications will be reviewed by the Administrative Committee before funds will be disbursed.

    United States Veterans Benefits

    LFBC is approved by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs for educational benefits for United States military veterans enrolled in Bachelor's programs.

    Local Employment

    Because of the location of LFBC, part-time employment opportunities are limited. If a student does need to work, employment opportunities must be cleared with the Academic Dean beforehand.

    Alberta Heritage Trust Fund

    Students graduating from Alberta high schools who have a grade point average of 80% or higher during grades 10, 11, or 12 are eligible to receive a scholarship from the Alberta Heritage Trust Fund. Check with your school administrators for an application form and more information.

    Fellowship of Christian Assemblies Leadership Training Scholarship

    This FCA scholarship is available to full time students entering their second or subsequent years of post-secondary Christian education. Special consideration is given to applicants enrolled at Living Faith Bible College as it is a member of the FCA. For additional information contact the Registrar.     Awarded Scholarships or Bursaries

    There are a number of scholarships awarded each year (generally during our graduation ceremonies). These are usually awarded to returning 2nd or 3rd year students.

    Government Student Loans 

    LFBC is an approved institution for Canada Student Loans. Canadian students wishing to receive a Canada Student Loan must apply through their province of residence.

    If you are from Alberta, our provincial designation number that you must use to apply for a loan is: 2063. Students from Alberta can telephone 1-800-222-6485 to request an application from the Alberta government or surf to:

    Students from Canada may wish to contact the bank or credit union of their choice to inquire about student loan programs. Some financial institutions have loan programs in place that are similar to the Canada Student Loan program.
