Academics
Teaching at LFBC focuses on challenging, feeding and instructing the heart and mind of the student. Emphasis is given to strong biblical, theological and practical instruction which aims at encouraging students in their relationship with the Lord, challenging students to deepen their understanding of the Christian walk, and equipping students for excellence and effectiveness in ministry and missions.

- Capturing the heart and lives of Godly men and women so they emminate Christ-likeness.
- Understanding the life-related principles of the Word of God derived from a careful and accurate interpretation.
- Responding with a moldable heart that allows God's Spirit and His Word to do their work of convicting, cleansing, renewing and transforming.
- Properly applying God's Word to daily life so that we become "effective doers" of God's Word and not "forgetful hearers".

Academic Associations
- Living Faith Bible College is incorporated by the Alberta Legislature as a private theological college with certificate, diploma and degree granting authority in theology and related studies.
- LFBC has been approved by Canadian Immigration for the education of foreign students.
- LFBC is a member of the Association of Canadian Bible Colleges.
- LFBC students have received full or fair credit transfer from a number of other recognized Bible Colleges for equivalent courses that fulfill their program requirements. Graduates have also been admitted into graduate level programs at seminaries accredited by the ATS (Association of Theological Schools).
- LFBC is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies, an association of conservative, evangelical churches and ministries in Canada and the United States that are rooted in the Pentecostal tradition. The student body of LFBC and its broader supporting constituency is comprised of a large cross-section of individuals from many Christian evangelical denominations..
